Phase Leader Specification
The governors want to recruit an experienced teacher with the knowledge of how to best work in groups and individually and a natural ability to train staff. You will be a resourceful teacher who can keep your thoughts and tasks ordered and explain complicated topics in such a way that they might be understood by everyone. You will provide a strong belief in the need for inclusive teaching practices that allows your to engage with every type of student.

About the Phase Leader Role
In this exciting Phase Leader position, you will be creating and implementing an action plan to improve teaching and learning across the KS and you will be working with great teaching resources, like interactive play areas. In general, you will be honing your talents with the training and CPD on offer for teachers and teaching with the support for the Head teacher. Through carefully observing your teacher's, while they lead lessons as usual, you will be able to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and give them useful tips. You will be sharing your time and energy between the duties of a Primary Teacher and the new found responsibilities that come with the Phase Leader title.
