Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Coordinator is needed for a high-profile role in the Brighton area of East Sussex. This is working for a high profile, prestigious site where customer service and quality of service are important to the building's commercial tenants. You must have previous experience of delivering FM services within a large / major building and have had experience as an Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Coordinator.

Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Coordinator role involves:

  • Supervise & monitor the delivery of a high standard of customer service to tenants
  • Establish a strong network of internal retailer links and develop a programme continual improvement to ensure a proactive chain of communication is maintained to foster good relations between centre management and tenants.
  • Monitor accidents/incidents - RIDDOR.
  • Coordinate the day to day issuing, monitoring and management of the permit to work system
  • Coordinate the tenant's inspection programme.
  • Monitor the performance of the main FM contract suppliers.
  • Review and coordinate relevant centre operational procedures
  • Coordinate centre programme for waste recycling and community projects.
  • Coordinate and assist in various projects with the main contractors.
  • Coordinate the pre-start meeting with all external contractors.
  • Fulfil the post of Duty Manager on a regular basis and all related responsibilities
  • Liaise with tenants to support a proactive culture between management team and tenants.
  • Provide operational support to Building Services Manager
  • Preparing & presenting reports on Excel.
  • Ideally IOSH H & S Qualification or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years Facilities Coordination experience on major buildings
