Commercial Account Manager - Fresh Produce - Chichester

A leading group of farms is searching for a Commercial Account Manager to start in May. The company has farms in the UK, Europe, and Africa, and grows a wide selection of vegetables and fresh produce. The role would report to the Business Unit Director, and work closely with the senior management team.

The role:

  • Develop accounts with the top UK retailers
  • Create and execute sales and promotions and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure integration of customer plans across all areas of the business including supply chain, procurement, operations, finance, QA, and logistics
  • Setting and managing sales budgets
  • Identify and target sales opportunities
  • Travel to source with customer as required
  • Development of industry insight and relationships

The candidate will have:

  • Previous exposure to multi-level FMCG accounts within the food sector
  • Confidence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven track record of success in similar sales roles
  • A degree
