My client has been delivering outstanding results for their clients for over 5 years now - and they are looking for people who will be able to drive their existing client accounts to new heights straight away.

The Restaurant Group Bookings National Account Manager role would grow pre-booked sales through an increase in national account business across multiple sites and brands by building & maintaining key relationships. The role will require excellent account management skills as well as the ability to identify opportunity’s and gain new business leads.

What is it?

  • Account manage a set number of third party clients/agents to consistently win business, grow relationships and ensure business retention
  • Brand ambassador for ‘Restaurant Group Bookings’
  • Increase revenue of all existing national accounts, as given, across all brands
  • Proactively identify and win new national accounts across all brands
  • Commercially and tactically place business into brands/sites considering trading periods etc.
  • Organise, plan and attend 3rd Party Agency FAM Trips
  • Ensure strong communication channels with all departments both internally and externally
  • Ensure that plans are delivered on time and that budgeted revenues are achieved and exceeded
  • Establish and grow customer and client database and use subsequent data for effective tactical and strategic marketing
  • Prepare business / profit reports as and when required
  • Attend related off-site / client meetings regularly
  • Attend networking events proactively to build awareness of the brands
  • All new and existing client contacts to be recorded with all relevant contact details and details of discussions and next steps
  • Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm booking within 4 hours of enquiry receipt
  • Manage a team of 2 who deal with all the day to day bookings and enquiries, ensure they are well trained and skilled to maximize revenue
  • Extensive knowledge of menu and package offerings that brand offers
  • Communicate weekly targets and daily results to the National Sales Manager
  • communicate out new menus and T&C’s to the office and to 3rd Party Agents as and when needed, and liaise with the operations team regarding a smooth transition from old group menus to new
  • Work closely with the Area Managers and Restaurant Managers to identify site specific group capabilities and opportunities
  • Partnership with Tourist Boards in all areas for destination specific business opportunities. Plus securing sales partnerships with local events and attractions and joint package creation
  • Build Corporate Credit Accounts with key local businesses for sites & areas with a corporate bias & private spaces, by telesales, research & FAM trips
  • Introduce Corporate Venue Finding Agents & Event Management Companies to the brand, focusing on key UK destinations with the best corporate event space

Who Are You?

  • Passion for customer service & sales (Re-Active & proactive)
  • Must have previous experience managing and nurturing teams previously
  • Experience managing key accounts across the hospitality industry
  • Previous account manager level experience in similar role essential
  • Excellent phone manner & brilliant work ethic
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Office and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours on occasion and to strict deadlines.
  • Outstanding organization and time management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (phone, in person, email).
  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Team player, positive, dynamic, bright, energetic and outgoing personality
