Full time Support worker position working with adult ex-offenders in Cheltenham. £19.8k a year.
Your new company
The organisation is a large national charity that look after adults who have served prison sentences. Their aim is to home and rehabilitate ex-offenders who may have committed serious crimes. The charity has an the best non re-offending rate of any similar organisation and pride themselves on the fantastic work they do to reintegrate the people they look after into society.
Your new role
The job is working within the home as a Project support worker to help in the rehabilitation of the residents whilst maintaining the charities ethos in the day to day running of the home. Your job is to essentially support and work with residents through their care plan and various issues that they have faced since leaving prison.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have had previous experience of working with ex-offenders in a similar environment, although this does not have to be in a residential home. You will also need to hold an NVQ in health and social care.
