This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and well established company as a Payroll Assistant, based in Luton. My client is looking for the following:

You will be responsible for:

• Pension Reconciliation & query resolution
• Payroll entries for expatriate employees and liaison with international compensation and benefits team
• Administration/payroll entry of stock Schemes
• Assist with any process administration and the collation of data for relevant reports.
• Updates and distributes relevant information databases as required
• Respond to requests for information from multiple parties in consultation with the relationship manager.
• Coordinates and handles all related memberships and incentive enrolments and ensures they are current.
• Assists/participates in the development and implementation of business processes to support compensation and benefits policy.
• Participate, in conjunction with the Director of Associate Relations and Reward, in meetings with suppliers and third parties etc – as required.

Payroll Reconciliation

• Preliminary Reconciliation of files
• Final Reconciliation of files to release payroll
• Checking Suspense, correcting anything that may be in there
• Balance Sheet Review & Completion
• Third Party Payment review & completion
• Checking Accruals & informing about errors to enable corrections to be made

Oracle and Relationship Team- 

• Become proficient Oracle user
• Participate in system administration and testing activities
• Collate and run reports using Oracle Reporting tools
• Assist as required in time sheet and other payments management processes i.e. uploading files, error resolution
• Assist in the processing of BACS Rejects & over payment recoveries


• Performs other related tasks as assigned by Management.

Candidate Profile-

• Administrative experience essential.
• Previous experience in financial accounting strongly desirable.
• Previous experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders/internal customers essential.
Skills and Knowledge
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must have good literacy skills and be very numerate.
• Good PC literacy with strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel essential.
• Experience of payroll entry or similar data entry tasks strongly desirable
• Highly organised and efficient approach required together with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to investigate/solve complex data conditions essential
• Self motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
