Debt Collector - Warrington

Salary £22,000+ Established company + 25 days holiday + Free Private Healthcare + Pension + Bonus

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday - 9am - 5pm Friday

A market leading company with a fantastic reputation in the debt collection field are looking for Debt Collectors due to extensive growth leading to them securing 2 additional premises. The role of a Debt Collector;

As a successful Debt Collector, your role will be to recover outstanding debts on behalf of a range of clients such as banks, financial services and utility companies. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload effectively always adhering to TCF guidelines as well as building rapport and showing empathy. The aim of the Debt Collector is to help customers come to a way of repaying their debt rather than putting people into financial difficulty while keeping in mind you're there to ultimately collect the funds. As well as ongoing training, you will be given 5 weeks of extensive classroom training, once fully trained you will need to work efficiently spending 90% of the day on calls and 10% managing the admin aspects of your caseload.

What we need in our Debt Collectors;

  • Telephony Collections experience OR Customer service experience
  • A high level of empathy for people
  • People with first class communication skills and a desire to negotiate outcomes that are good for everyone
  • At least GCSE level education (B minimum in Maths and English)
