Head Chef £29-£33K plus tips

A beautiful popular independent 16th century country pub is looking for a creative, experienced professional Head Chef with a strong background in busy professional kitchens of 30-60 covers, dedicated to cooking high quality dishes from scratch using fresh seasonal local produce.

Head Chef Essentials:

  • Experience and proven talent cooking fresh food to order, at a fast pace
  • Clean modern presentation of core classic menu to a high standard
  • Ordering, liaising and negotiation with suppliers
  • GP's, record management
  • Keeping cleanliness & hygiene standards to 5 Star rating

Personal Skills

  • Possess good personal, professional, organisational & motivational skills to manage the kitchen.


  • Salary: We offer a competitive salary negotiable to your experience of £29,000-£33,000
  • Creativity: We encourage innovative skills with specials board allowing you to demonstrate your creativity

Our promise is you will always have help, be respected and never worked to the ground. 50-52 Hours per week 5 days on 2 days off, you will be in charge of a flexible rota, currently some split shifts.
