Excellent permanent Purchase Ledger Manager opportunity- Hemel Hempstead.

A leading and growing brand is looking for a permanent Purchase Ledger Manager to join their friendly and motivated team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will primarily be responsible for the management of the purchase ledger function . Working within the wider Finance function the successful candidate will be managing a small team of Accounts Payable Clerks. Main responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Manager will be:

  • Ensure invoices are processed onto the AP system within agreed service levels
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of costs
  • Manage supplier payment runs
  • Prepare and review the month end statement reconciliations
  • Building strong relationships with the wider finance team
  • Improve processes and procedures
  • Manage and motivate a team
  • Managing month end purchase ledger close process and providing relevant reporting
  • Managing employee expenses process
  • Sending of weekly cash forecasts
  • Conduct appraisals and 1-2-1 meetings

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience within an Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager role
  • Have great people skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Supervisor skills
