As our Marketing & PR Assistant, you'll have a chance to get involved with top-brand campaigns from day one. The opportunities for progression within the growing Exertis organisation are superb, too.
Purpose of the Job
Working in the Marketing department, you will be primarily assisting the team in creating and sharing compelling content for our brands, including driving Social Media campaigns, crafting optimised copy and assisting in a range of PR activities.
Being a fast-paced business with a wide range of technology brands to promote via traditional, digital and social media, you'll need to be well organised and enthusiastic to take on the tasks assigned to the role. Excellent written English is a must, too.
Accountabilities
1.Ability to create and update stories accurately and quickly onto Social Media Platforms
2.Ability to create compelling content for our brands, from editorial and advertising creative to marketing mailshots to e-Commerce listings to press releases and more
3.Review publications, online articles and Social Media to make connections and drive content, while also monitoring and amplifying media coverage of our brands
4.Organise the dispatch of product samples to press for review, including maintaining a sample log of products out in the field
5.To accept and participate in opportunities to learn additional aspects of the marketing operation to help in your personal development.
6.Achieve specific objectives set by your manager
Job Content and Context
1.Update and maintain the company's Social Media Platforms with fresh and exciting stories, videos and articles, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
2.Write accurate, engaging copy - for anything from Amazon listings to marketing mailshots.
3.Regularly review Brand partner and relevant industry websites for content, connecting and promoting this content through our own platforms.
4.Respond to customers' comments and suggestions via our social media platforms, ensuring regular engagement and high integrity is maintained at all times.
5.Promptly and efficiently dispatch product review samples to members of the press in a safe and secure manner.
6.Help team prioritise constant and evolving demand for marketing services from the business
7.Have good judgement and provide quality assurance across all comms
8.To be an Exertis Unlimited brand "champion" ensuring our brand is always respected and represented in a professional manner.
9.Daily liaison with your manager, your team and the wider business ensuring great team relationships and communications
10.Work with the Marketing Analyst to help measure the impact and reach of our campaigns
11.Perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by your manager
Candidate Profile
You are a digital native with superb copywriting skills. You will ideally have a recent qualification in marketing or journalism - or related fields - and be seeking an entry-level position that will give an excellent opportunity to showcase and build your skills in a fast-paced Marketing environment. We're ready for your enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Must have:
1.Excellent English language and communication skills
2.Experience of a variety of Social Media Platforms
3.Ability to plan effectively with good attention to detail
4.Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile and to exceed expectations
5.Self-motivated go-getter - tenacious and diligent
Desirable:
1.Understanding of and enthusiasm for our product line up - technology will be something you are ready to evangelise about
2.Being educated to degree level; preferably in Marketing/Communications, Journalism or a related field
3.Understanding of SEO and creating optimised online copy
4.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Productivity Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
5.Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite
