An exciting West Yorkshire based opportunity has just become available for an experienced Domestic Violence Team Manager to oversee an experienced and dynamic IDVA Team.

The successful candidate will be working for a respected local charity who provide services to women and children fleeing domestic violence across West Yorkshire.

Synopsis of the role:

*Responsible for the direct management and day to day running of the IDVA service, ensuring that a high standard of support services are delivered to people experiencing Domestic Abuse
*Operational management of 3 Independent Domestic Violence Advocates and responsibility for carrying out appraisals and supervisions, advice and guidance relating to complex cases and case management, training and development and recruitment and retention (including inductions)
*Responsible for overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of the service and for ensuring best practice
*Compiling service performance reports and quarterly returns for commissioning agencies and maintaining written records and statistical information in order to meet the data requirements of the organisation
*Attending multiagency and partnership meetings and case conferences as a representative of the organisation and facilitating partnership work with a range of agencies, services and professionals in order to maximise clients' opportunities
*Responsible for developing links with other service providers and maintaining a network of support for the organisation

Essential Requirements:
*Proven track record of managing or coordinating Domestic Violence Services
*Proven Track record of monitoring and evaluating services and of delivering high quality services to victims of abuse
