Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a well know/ rapidly expanding Manufacturing company based near Wrexham. This evolving Accounts Assistant role will be based within a dynamic and hands on finance team with an exciting company who are going through rapid growth and expansion.

This is an excellent all-encompassing role and a brilliant opportunity for a AAT/ PQ AAT /PQ CIMA/ACCA/ACA studier looking for a developing role were they can develop and, take on additional responsibility and progress within this well known expanding business.

This role will primarily be overseeing the purchase ledger process within the business including processing supplier invoices, dealing with queries and preparation of supplier payment runs. The ideal candidate will also have experience in assisting with month-end responsibilities relating to Accounts Payable. This role may have the possibility of evolving over time with company growth and so will suit somebody who is looking for a role with progression.

Responsibilities include:

- Accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices and purchase orders
- Management of purchase ledger including supplier statement reconciliation, dealing with supplier queries and assisting with the preparation of payment runs
- Responsible for keeping management updated on any issues
- Account reconciliation, and other accounting functions as required by the business
- Reports and financial analysis as necessitated
- To undertake training where required appropriate to the role requirements
- Project work as directed by management
- Ad-hoc work as driven by colleagues and company requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- Advanced IT skills including intermediate excel (pivots, look ups, formulas etc.) and ERP system experience
- Attention to detail and methodical approach
- Competent when dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience working in a purchase ledger role and within a finance department
- Proven experience of developing successful working relationships across other departments
- Desire to grow and develop in the role professionally
- Dedication to the role and the business exhibited through attendance and a willingness to take part in areas and projects outside the scope of the role
