Commercial Analyst - Healthcare
Category analyst for global healthcare company in London with good insight and dashboard / software skills
Your new company
Is a global healthcare company, based in the UK, that has shown strong growth in the consumer healthcare market and are looking to add another member to their insight and analysis team.
Your new role
You will be working as part of the category insights team for the consumer healthcare division, analysing category data to provide insights and strategy recommendations to sales, marketing and category managers.
You will help further develop category insight capabilities, working with data from sources such as Nielsen and Kantar, to identify shopper trends and deliver high quality solutions to customers.
Working with brand and sales teams, you will use these insights and data to refine strategies for category growth, creating new merchandising and in-store plans to engage a wider network of customers.
There will be a strong technical aspect to the role, as you will take the lead on creating dashboards to highlight KPIs and allow RoI to be assessed for promotional activities, as well as becoming a subject matter expert in software such as ShopperMX.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as excellent communication and organisational skills, you will need a relevant degree (or equivalent) in a life science, mathematical, business, marketing or similar area.
You should have strong Excel and other technical skills, with experience in dashboards and/or marketing software.
Experience as a category analyst, or a related position, ideally in the healthcare, FMCG or pharmaceutical industry would be a significant advantage, and you should be able to demonstrate a track record of providing innovative solutions to problems.
What you'll get in return
The chance to work for a growing company that are serious about investing in their staff's development, an excellent working atmosphere, the ability to progress your career with a leader in the field, and the chance to work on a range of interesting projects.
