Trainee Account Manager

From £18,000 p.a. Salary (some flexibility will be offered to more experienced candidates up to £23K) + OTE £30K+

Are you a Sales Executive or a Sales Administrator looking to develop your skills and progress in your career as a Trainee Account Manager? Or do you already have account management responsibilities looking for a new challenge?

The salary for this Account Manager opportunity is around from £18-20,000 p.a. if you wish to join as a trainee. However, this can be flexible depending on relevant experience and skills that you may already have in sales or account management up to around £23,000 p.a. You will also earn commission with expected OTE of £30K+. As a Trainee Account Manager you will be responsible for managing low value client accounts and providing administrative support to the sales team. You will need to be confident on the telephone when speaking to clients and aspire to become a fully-fledged Account Manager in the IT sector. There will also be an element of generating new business, however there is no 'cold'-calling involved. You will be also be responsible for administering customer contract re-signs and amendments, monitoring the sales inbox, providing a high standard of administrative support, ensuring the CRM is up to date, answering telephone calls, and proactively suggesting departmental improvements or ways in which the business could enhance sales.

Account Manager Requirements:
*Confidence when speaking to clients over the phone is essential
*Must be looking for career progression with a desire to grow and embrace a sales and account management role as part of your career progression plan
*Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
*Strong administration skills
*Excellent knowledge of a CRM system and a good understanding of Microsoft Office
*Able to manage your time, organise your workload, and multi-task
*A sales or account management background would be advantageous
*IT knowledge is desirable

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.
