Sales Account Manager – Craft Beer
£25,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Amazing Bonus Structure
My client is a very cool independent importer, distributor and brand builder of craft beers globally. They have a work hard, play hard ethic, with an excellent presence across London, the UK and globally.
Reporting to the Head of sales in your position as a Sales Account manager you will liaise with all departments and profitably grow their share of the Craft Beer market in London. Build the category, making them the first choice for customers and you will also be completely crazy about craft beer, as you will be building their reputation as the beer expert within London. Part of your job is to maintain and develop existing relationships with the craft brewers from whom they import directly and their customers: bar owners, operators, wholesalers, restaurateurs and retailers.
You will hit the ground running, and have contacts and relationships with distributers, restaurants, bars, clubs and supermarkets. You will also be very pro-active, hungry, driven and a natural hunter with a superb work ethic.
Managing the day to day relationships with their Direct Delivered Account base in London, you will profitably sell their portfolio of imported and domestic beers. Taking responsibility for the profitability, volume and brand distribution.
You will manage the increasing complexity of the craft beer market to enable seamless and efficient customer service, whilst implementing the company’s strategies.
You will also identify any marketing initiatives or opportunities and monitor and report competitor initiatives.
Part of the role will be to prospect and open new accounts to meet sales targets; developing a pipeline of potential and sustainable new customers in London to grow their direct account base.
You will be happy to participate in evening and weekend promotions/events, or trade shows as required but ultimately….
As a Sales Account Manager, you must be passionate about craft beer and able to work using your own initiative.
