Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Location: Bradford

Salary: £37,500 plus bonus and benefits

Working in a new team you will be an integral part of a new venture, responsible for the analysis and reporting of credit risk and operational credit systems data. As well as this you be responsible for building and maintaining the reporting of portfolio and credit metrics and exceptions and analysis arising from the reporting. You will also ensure the integrity, storage, retention and accuracy of the reporting, analysis and all data associated with reporting and analysis is managed appropriately


  • Assist with the implementation of new technical system/business process/reporting solutions
  • Conduct analysis to support business decisions in conjunction with other members of the team and other stakeholders within the business
  • Conduct analysis to develop new and enhanced insights to improve quality / profitability of lending
  • Deliver regular management information to identify trends. Support investigation of unexpected trends to identify root causes
  • Define requirements for the implementation of MI for credit portfolio management
  • Define requirements for data infrastructure to support credit portfolio management
  • Develop analysis & reporting processes and procedures for credit portfolio management
  • Become an expert in credit portfolio management to support the business
  • Provide oversight and support to new and less experienced colleagues

  • Experience in understanding and analysing data and data requirements
  • Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Knowledge of credit risk life cycle
  • Experience in use of data reporting tools
  • Able to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with credit MI and reporting
  • Good degree in a numerate discipline with statistical content
