An edgy, trend defining Footwear Retailer is recruiting for a passionate, ground breaking Marketing professional, with strategic, creative and business intellect to help take the brand to the next level.

You will help drive improved insight, communication and performance with an incisive focus on the customer, deploying analytics and profiling to communicate and sustain a clear understanding of our marketing objectives across the whole business.


Develop a marketing and brand strategy in line with the one and five year plans for the organisation

Determine costed Marketing plans with clearly defined brand, category, product and sales objectives

Contribute to the annual budgeting process

Be a champion for data, measurement and science

Maintain and communicate and organisation culture, values and reputation within the marketplace

Manage Marketing, PR & VM teams

Maintain and communicate key events, promotions and launches calendar for wide business use

Control and manage all appropriate spend, reporting on a monthly basis

Manage the company research agenda clearly prioritising topics to add insight and value. Commission market research and evaluate findings, providing deliverable insights to enhance internal thinking and understanding within the business

Use all analytics tools available to provide robust customer behavioural insight

Profile key customer groupings, identifying suitable acquisition and retention activity


8-10 years working in Marketing with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position

Demonstrable track record of success

Experience with businesses associated with a youthful target audience - ideally with a deep understanding and trading experience within a fashion / lifestyle multi-channel retailer

Knowledge of working with customer databases, including some knowledge of how to build them and how to analyse and segment the data

Ability to understand big data sources and analysis tools, and how such data can be deployed to benefit the business

Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management
