Hays is currently working exclusively with a not-for-profit organisation based in the heart of Leeds. After restructuring for an on-going project our client is looking for a Financial Management Team role on an interim basis until the project is completed.
Your new role
you will be preparing posting and reviewing journals, providing budget management support for profiling and forecasting and advising and supporting business on specialist financial areas (provisions, investments, finance leases). As the accounts manager you will Undertake day-to-day management and monitoring of budgets, maintaining accurate records of allocations, planned expenditure etc; produce detailed monthly transaction level reports for DMB, division and branch meetings
What you'll need to succeed
you will need experience working in a finance environment, including management accounting, cost analysis, planning and budgeting, financial accounting or the preparation of statutory accounts and business support. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with stakeholders at all levels.
