Your new role

Your new job working as a Technical Services Manager means you be responsible for managing a team of 3 will providing leadership, management and direction within the team for all aspects of existing and new clients and their risks. The role will also involve assisting in the general development of the Technical Department, especially in relation to the documentation going to the market, the client and the internal processes while ensuring that risks and documentation conforms to the current regulatory requirements. Other duties will include supporting the team in the production, of new and existing MRC slips for both UK and International risk, as well as accurate preparation of MRC slips, endorsements and all associated documentation, including Renewals, using LMA and other wordings. You will be responsible for managing the timely processing of premium to the markets and subsequent adjustments and preparation of necessary LPANs to be submitted to Xchanging. Other tasks will include reviewing system processes, generating statistical information, review processes and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous extensive experience working within the London Market Insurance / Reinsurance market as either a Senior Technician or Technical Manager will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will have experience or knowledge of Accident and Health ( A&H) , Travel, PA and related risks. You will have proven experience of managing staff and understanding and knowledge of insurance and reinsurance technical processing, as well as knowledge of relevant Lloyd's, UK and international regulatory and taxation requirements to ensure the smooth processing of risks through Xchanging.
