Entry Level Sharepoint Consultant, NorthumberlandSalary negotiable depending on experience.
My client is a well established, hugely profitable, international manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Sharepoint Consultant to join their Northumberland site. The successful candidate will be required to help shape the technology demand among the business community. This particular role acts as an intermediate between the business community and the IT community to translate business requirements into conceptual technical designs and solutions for existing and new services.
Responsibilities: - Designing and Implementing SharePoint workflows and forms, creating solutions fitting to business requirements. - Demonstrate and implement the technologies for collaboration to the business, provide guidance for better enabling collaborative interactions.- Willingness to travel within the UK to support business functions.- Work together with Collaboration colleagues as part of a global team, to develop and become an expert for relevant technologies and ensure upkeep with trends.- Building relationships within the different business units; as a key liaison between IT and the business- Creating rapport and detecting opportunities to leverage technologies as well as communicating changes, trends and activities while demonstrating and implementing the technologies for collaboration within the business, providing expert-level guidance for enabling collaborative interactions.- Support and contribute to a collaboration environment (Service Desk, SharePoint site) for Collaboration technology information (e.g. tips such as SharePoint help, Skype uses, training materials, success stories, processes). - Review, perform and close all types of application management tasks (e.g. incidents, changes) in a timely manner to a high quality and to the highest customer satisfaction possible including root cause analysis and engaging third level support when needed.- Run projects and apply project management methodology for specific projects, roll outs and change requests.- Contribute to overall architecture, methods, standards and procedures/processes.
Criteria: - An IT related degree or equivalent experience.- Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint- Knowledge of designing and implementing SharePoint Workflows- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

Salary negotiable depending on experience
