Job Description

We are recruiting to a Second Line Technical Analyst position based in Chelmsford – this permanent full-time position is offered on an all year round or term time only basis.

You will be responsible for providing support to staff in schools relating to software and technical issues via email, phone and remote access.

Whilst managing issues you will be required to maintain regular contact with the customer throughout the incident lifecycle, investigate, attempt resolution or escalate issues retaining ownership, identify trends and escalate as appropriate, add updates to incident reports on the database, follow data compliance processes and work to agreed targets/objectives via the performance management and development process.

The Package

This is a full-time position offered on an all year round basis or term time only dependent on your preference. The position is paying £22k for all year round and would be pro rata for term time only dependent on how many weeks you work per year.

Job Requirements

ICT technician experience within a school is desirable however not essential – experience of using SIMS also is desirable. Consideration for 1st or 2nd line helpdesk experience also. Excellent communication skills are required combined with strong problem solving skills
