Position: Project Engineer

Salary: £35-38k depending on experience.

Hours: 40hrs per week plus overtime to meet the demands of the business.

Location: Royston

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious chemicals client for a Project Engineer to work at their state of the art manufacturing facility based in Royston.


As a Project Engineer you will be primarily responsible for managing and completing the day-to-day working on multiple projects within various departments throughout the organisation.

About the Role

* Develop project justification plans including timings and cost savings, production efficiencies, increased outputs etc.
* Identify potential improvement and project manage production and engineering personnel across various departments.
* Introduce corrective/ preventative maintenance plans including standard operating procedures.
* Producing technical specifications for engineering/ production equipment.
* Implement continuous improvement/ LEAN manufacturing activities.

Skills & Qualifications

* Ideally, Engineering Apprenticeship and HNC/HND/Degree qualified in an engineering related subject or equivalent.
* Familiar with a range of LEAN / CI / Six Sigma methodologies.
* Proven successes in implementing new equipment, processes and procedures to fixed budgets and timescales.
* Sound knowledge and experience with MS Office and AutoCAD.

Salary & Benefits

* £35,000 - £38,000 p/a
