A market leading Financial Software House requires a Software Support Consultant (with knowledge of Windows, TCP/IP, SQL) to help expand their team as a result of recent growth. This is a superb opportunity for a degree-educated, experienced Application Support Analyst / Client Consultant. You will be responsible predominantly for providing diagnostic assistance on complex trading technology to demanding clients in the financial sector.

Software Support Consultant - Key Responsibilities:

*Provide second line technical support to city-based clients
*Ensure client requests are carried out in an effective and efficient manner
*Provide technical consultancy to clients, such as product configuration and training

Software Support Consultant - Qualifications and Experience:

*Excellent Computer Science or related degree
*Experience in the automation of processes, or writing automation scripts is ideal but not essential.
*Practical experience of Windows, Server, and using and understanding TCP/IP and networking concepts; experience investigating and resolving network issues.
*Knowledge of relational databases (ideally SQL Server) and SQL
*Excellent communication and problem solving skills are also essential
