Our client is seeking a Probate Assistant to join their Private Wealth Team. The role will involve assisting with the completion of all of the necessary paperwork in order to distribute the estate of the deceased to the beneficiaries; in accordance with their last will and testament. This role requires someone who has experience of working in probate.

Principle Responsibilities:

* Assist with preparing probate documentation to clients from instruction to completion

* Providing support with drafting documents

* Actioning correspondence to ensure deadlines are met

* Taking responsibility for standard procedures

* Liaising with clients by correspondence and over the phone

* Attending client and internal meetings

* Providing administrative support on all probate files

* Preparing Estate accounts and Inland Revenue Accounts

* Lodging deeds and documents

* Any other duties as required within the scope of the role.

Skills required:

* Previous experience in probate

* Excellent organisational skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* An eye for detail – able to produce accurate work

* Motivated and enthusiastic

* Good IT Skills are important

* Professionally presented

This is an excellent opportunity for a good Probate Assistant to join a company that offers good employee benefits and opportunities for self-improvement. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30pm.
