Our innovative technology client based in Euston is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.
Working on a very busy service desk you will be dealing with technical queries, assessing IT problems, diagnosing cause of problem, keeping the client updated all the way through the process through to resolution, escalating complex & recurring issues to senior team. This role would be a 2nd line support role.
You will assist in project implementation, providing knowledge and technical support to the clients, building new hardware and installing software / applications to meet client needs. You will have server / networking experience and knowledge, and will have strong troubleshooting skills.
To be considered for this Service Desk Analyst position, you will be degree educated in an IT related discipline, will be experienced for up to 2-3 years in an infrastrucure / hardware support role and will have knowledge and experience in MS Office, Active Directory, PC installation and setting up of mobile devices. You will ideally have studied or be studying for MCSE / MCSA certifications and also willing to further study to meet the needs of your role and the organisations.
It is essential that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and and have experience of working within an ITIL environment. You will thrive on working under pressure and to deadlines.
Own transport and full driving licence would be preferred for travelling to client sites outside of London in the future.
