Spanish speaking Group Travel Account Manager – Travel – London – Up to £28K

Spanish speaking Group Travel Account Manageris required by a well-established travel company in the UK and Ireland. The Travel company offers comprehensive ground handling services to FIT, special interest and city break groups as well as Conferences and Incentives. As the Spanish speaking Group Travel Account Manager, you will be working with the Spanish team in building and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The candidate is expected to be pro-active and able to offer the most suitable products to potential clients.

As Spanish speaking Group Travel Account Manager you will:

  • Identify suitable products for the client in order to create the most effective and competitive offer
  • Update room lists, vouchers and bookings in the system with the correct information in order to have a correct overview for management
  • Be responsible for your clients pending and confirmed groups, to book all services required making sure all details are correct prior to arrival
  • Follow up on all offers correctly, following the instructions received during the training
  • Negotiate and try to buy under budget in order to increase margins, without compromising on quality
  • Ensure offers reflects the client wants without compromising quality and price
  • Ensure deadlines are met and maintain good relationships with all clients
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, in order to match clients’ needs
  • Be proactive in keeping up to date with product knowledge and build relationships with suppliers
  • Keep well-informed of who our competitors are as well as offerings, clients and suppliers
  • Assist the accounts in department in ensuring that term and conditions for payment are respected both by client and from our part towards suppliers, as per agreements
  • Organise and participate in familiarization trips

The Spanish speaking Group Travel Account Manager is:

  • Experienced working with a UK and Ireland inbound operator (minimum 5 years)
  • Experienced in operating groups and preparing quotes
  • Knowledgeable about the UK and its rates/current market prices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to problem solve and find suitable solutions
  • A team player but can work independently when required
  • Organised and able to work under pressure whilst keeping to tight deadlines
  • Flexible and open minded
  • Passionate about the travel industry and wants to grow professionally within the travel trade
