A major financial services client is looking for an MI Analyst to join a major regulatory programme of work. You will be responsible for delivering reporting on a regular and ad-hoc basis. This will be achieved by establishing and monitoring high standards of control over report preparation, data sourcing, data analysis and reconciliation. This will include report preparation and review, supporting and interacting with internal and external stakeholders, interpretation of regulatory rules, supporting management in preparing written commentary on reports and metrics. Tasks will include: Produce reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and as required Manage the development and maintenance of key reporting processes, while providing in-depth analysis of data Manage the development and gathering of data and assumptions upon which reporting can be based Management of case workflow Maintain high internal control standards to assess report accuracy and data integrity ensuring the necessary governance and controls are maintained Provide support for risk identification, assessment and mitigation through the provision and analysis of data, and assistance with interpretation/application of regulatory rules. Support the Manager to deal with questions from stakeholders around information within the reports Analyse the impact of any changes in regulatory reporting requirements Prepare documentation on any changes in methodology or assumption Candidates must have: Strong analytic and reporting skills, ideally gained in the Financial Services industry Excellent MI reporting experience ideally gained within the financial services industry Strong data analysis skills with the ability to take on ad-hoc tasks Strong excel skills required Ideally candidates will have: Microsoft Access skills are preferable VBA would be a benefit Allegis Group Limited operates as an Employment Business and Employment Agency as set out in the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
