Edustaff are working with a highly successful Grammar School in Sittingbourne, who are looking to take on a supportive SEN Teaching Assistant from October 2018.

This Grammar School is led by as fantastic Senior Leadership Team and has been graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

The role of a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant will involve working on a one-to-one basis with pupils in KS3 who have mild SEN or are working at a lower ability to the rest of the class. You will be working closely with the school SENCO and will be based in the English department. This is a long-term position for the entire academic year between the hours of 9.00am-4.00pm (Pay: £60-£70 per day)

To be considered for the role of a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant you must possess a minimum of a 2:2 in your university degree and must have an excellent background of GCSE and A-Level academics in English. Experience with secondary aged students isn’t essential but you must have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs
