A growing and successful Chippenham-based company are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their small, busy finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to provide an outstanding service to meet the team’s and the company’s goals.

Key duties will include:

- Daily matching of invoices to purchase orders and highlighting issues where necessary
- Daily input of overhead and administration invoices
- Daily allocation of supplier direct debit payments
- Code and input staff expenses
- Code and input credit card statements
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Supplier invoice queries
- Payment run and input to HSBC bank template for authorisation
- Send out remittances

To be successful in this role you will have experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk ideally with a minimum of two years experience. You must have an intermediate level knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables and Vlookups and a good understanding of foreign currency. You will be a dedicated professional, passionate about providing excellent customer service as well as having good time management and communication skills.

This is a temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate so you must be immediately available.
