The ideal candidate The role of a Care Coordinator incorporates many different duties. You will need to be flexible for the needs of the business and work effectively with team members and on your own. You must be self-motivated and be passionate about the care sector, clients and carers as you will be responsible for the continuity of homecare for all of our customers. Role responsibility You will be expected to cover client visits, perform client consultations, ensure that service reviews, and quality assurance visits are completed General administration skills To ensure that service user, personnel and electronic files are kept up to date such as inputting all new care and support plan documentation and, maintaining accurate records of communication and visit. Dealing with day to day telephone calls/emails and pro-actively respond Plan and organise coaching and shadowing for new recruits Support the Carer Manager to conduct interviews for new recruits Rostering and issuing weekly rotas to support staff providing continuity Working closely alongside the Carer Manager Payroll Invoicing Essential criteria Passionate about improving the quality of life of service users Must have Care Coordinator experience in Domiciliary Care Must hold a current British driving license Must be IT/ Computer literate Proven problem solver that thrives under pressure Excellent organiser with very high attention to detail Strong communication, planning and time management skills Ability to build and manage strong relationships with customers and care assistants Hold a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or willing to undertake one Our Governing Body: CQC is an organisation that regulates our company, they provide us with a set of rules and regulations that we adhere to. They do regular inspections at the office to make sure the business is running to the correct standards.
