gap Personnel Exeter are recruiting for an IT Help Desk Administrator to join the IT Operations Team at our client’s site on the edge of Exeter.

This is a Service Desk role, and will be the first point of contact for all staff within the business for any IT issues. You will be responsible for capturing issues, administrating systems, and raising issues to the IT Team. You will be working with the client’s in-house ticketing system, and ensuring IT always delivers high levels of service.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Service Desk/IT support role. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have made a difference in previous roles, contributed real value, and helped to deliver high quality new features. In addition, the successful candidate will have a great deal of enthusiasm and passion for technology.

Role overview:

* Using Help Desk software
* Resolving IT Users’ issues
* Application support for a range of software from Office365 to Server 2016.
* Writing IT Help Guides

Candidate overview:

* IT qualification and/or experience
* Excellent analytical skills
* Good communicator
* Self driven, independent worker but at times will also be required to be a team player.
* Sharepoint experience
* Network administration.

There is a requirement for flexibility in relation to travelling on business so you will need to hold a clean, valid driving licence.

This role is a great opportunity to develop further, as both inhouse and external training/support will be provided.

Salary: £20,000 per annum
