Planning, organising and testing products related to development, verification, validation and pre-submission to notified bodies. Investigation on customer returns. Supporting Design Engineers, Portfolio Management, Quality Management and Approval Engineers to identify and plan test requirements in alignment with standards and project management processes. Work on test concepts from idea to realisation. Directing the work of test lab technicians. Being part of the global company network. Reviewing standards associated with test procedures. Proceeding statistical analysis of test results.
Role:
1. Create test strategies, test plans, perform tests and statistical data analysis related to new products before launch and serial products on request of different departments and projects. The main focus will be electronic products including software and firmware.
2. Work on test concepts from planning to commissioning of new test equipment, rigs and jigs and as well software/firmware related for various test purposes including simulation and test automatization for internal and external build following the relevant processes and demands.
3. Use of Six Sigma and statistical tools for various application in test lab.
4. Direct test technicians to perform tests and document the test results in alignment with the standard procedures, H&S and test lab rules.
5. Plan, perform and/or direct technicians to build and validate new test equipment. Support with product and test knowledge on request of company departments and in interdisciplinary project teams.
6. Build up personal network with international test houses
7. Correlation work on test procedures and set ups with international test laboratories.
8. Contributing to the global company Test Engineer Network activities.
9. Update test equipment to align with standards and test requirements.

13. Finalise projects, tasks, targets agreed in alignment with the yearly department goals

Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Quality Management, Test Development or related scientific / engineering discipline.
Experience in testing, data analysis and documentation.
Experience in plan and in building test equipment including documentation hardware and software related, verification and validation (Gage R&R).
Experience within a Test Lab, R&D and quality management background.
Experience of dealing with high pressure pneumatic equipment and testing and electronics.
Six Sigma, statistics and Lab View experience.
Excellent Organisational skills.
Interpretation of standards to testing.
