Role The Website and Digital Search Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital search marketing strategies, which maximise digital engagement. The applicant must have an in-depth understanding and experience in SEM, live & breathe SEO and be passionate about websites. They must keep up to date with SEM developments and be able to react to changes efficiently. The role will work closely with the in house website development team. This role will be responsible for owning the website. Uploading new content to keep the website fresh, editing old content, managing the sitemap, redirecting URLs, usability testing and running website reports and proposing continual website improvements. The Website and Digital Search Specialist will work on exciting global projects, working closely with the global marketing team based in FDM offices in North America, Europe and APAC. Duties and Responsibilities Plan and execute digital search strategies Organically grow traffic and rankings through developing link-building activities Work with Digital Content Coordinator to produce SEO friendly content plans Develop and plan PPC campaigns, report on results, make amends to reduce CPC Work with the rest of the digital team to develop new and exciting search campaigns Track and analyse traffic on website Make recommendations based on website analysis to improve usability an conversions Find and resolve website problems in line with latest SEO recommendations Keeping up with SEO and PPC trends, new marketing mediums and online competitor analysis Keep abreast of SEM news and update the team Uploading blogs and making content edits on the website Keeping on top of technical and on page SEO Review of Google analytics report – making suggestions to reduce bounce rates Ownership of our Google Analytics and Webmaster tools Creating SEO and PPC reports and making suggestions for improvement Liaising with the in house website development team to make amends and create A/B testing Develop and report on the keyword strategy Any other reasonable duties as required Essential Criteria 2+ years of experience in SEM marketing Excellent understanding of latest SEO and digital trends Proven track record of creativity and innovation Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure Understanding of CMS’s including, WordPress Experience using Google Analytics Extensive knowledge of Google Ads Ability to accept criticism of your work and make edits at management’s discretion A solid understanding of website usability and accessibility Curious, confident and able to use own initiative Effective interpersonal skills Agency experience beneficial but not essential. Good attention to detail with high level of accuracy Effectively able to work in a team environment Highly motivated, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
