SEN Teaching Assistant
I am currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistants to join a mainstream Primary School in the LEA of Newham for September 2018. The School is very well facilitated and is looking to meet with perspective SEN Teaching Assistant for the below position immediately.
They are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with two key children with Autism. In the morning you would be required to work with a Year 4 child with ASD which required the child to have little communication and social skills. In the afternoon, you would be required to work with a Year 4 girl with ASD and significant learning needs
The School is graded 'Good' by Ofsted and is easily accessible by public transport and also has a car park for their staff. It is well facilitated with a training program provided each week on a Wednesday.
They have a number of SEN children in the school with a range of SEN needs; however the school is well facilitated for this. They are looking for a committed and professional SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with the key child.
You will be required to start work at 8.30am with a half an hour lunch break then for the remainder of lunch you will be required to help with lunch duty. You will finish at 3.30pm, except on Wednesdays when they have training until 4.30pm. Please note that there may be personal care involved in some of the positions.
