An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Scottish SPCA to join their diverse and passionate communications team based in Dunfermline. The role of Communications Officer requires someone with a creative flair, a passion for animal welfare and an eye for a good story to help further develop the profile of Scotland’s animal welfare charity. Applicants must have experience of either working in the media or public relations; have strong copy writing skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. By joining the communications team you will help make a difference to the thousands of animals rescued by the Scottish SPCA every year. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and involves providing a weekend, evening and public holiday on call service on a rota basis. As the role is primarily office-based, applicants must be able to commute to Dunfermline. A UK driving licence is essential.
