Headline: This role is a Front-end JavaScript Developer role looking for someone to come in and join one of the squads responsible for using JavaScript to develop apps for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Location: Ruddington
Salary: From£35K to £48K
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate would have extensive experience working with JavaScript as well as experience with CSS, XML, JSON, HTML and would preferably have limited experience with SQL.

The role:

In this role, you would be joining a cross-functional squad of up to 7 people, containing JavaScript developers, testers and team leads. You would be reporting to the squad leader and the developer team lead. The dual reporting structure is fairly new as they have recently moved to a matrix approach. So far, they’ve had success and find that it helps to provide guidance and support for all squad members.

The actual role would entail creating/using core libraries to save time for future coding. It would also entail working to use JavaScript to develop mobile apps.


·A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with JavaScript

·A strong understanding of CSS, HTML5, JSON, XML

·An interest in the application of new technology to the clinical trials process

Nice to haves:

·SQL experience (this would help, but is not a necessity)

·Experience with MS SQL using MS SQL Studio

·Experience with C# in a .Net environment

This role is offering a salary of up to £48,000 working a 37.5-hour week. The also offer flexible working meaning that you will be able to work from home up to 1 day a week if it is needed. They care about their staff and are willing to accommodate personal situations. A lot of the communication is done through hangouts to make things easier when communication with people abroad.
