A fantastic Cambridge based company operating in the tech sector all across the world, are recruiting for an accounts payable analyst to join the team on a temporary basis (6 months) the company offers an opportunity to make a difference within a collaborative team & beautiful modern offices. This is an ideal transitional role for someone looking to take on more responsibility within the AP department of a modern, growing company.

The Position:

* Supplier statement reconciliation & follow up

* Accounts payable inbox management (both digital & physical)

* Invoice query management & resolution to accepted time constraints

* AP Ledger reviews & balance sheet reconciliation

* Review & process expenses claim against company policy

* Supplier invoice processing in SAP

* Identify opportunities for process improvement & have a questioning mentality to drive improvement

* Close relationship with procurement in regards to supplier invoicing

* Close engagement with finance transformation projects & representing as the subject expert for the AP team

* Delivering on KPI’s

* Ad hoc tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

* Previous accounts payable experience

* Candidates with a passion for making a task their own & offering experience based advice on how to improve processes within the accounts payable team

* High attention to detail & strong organisational skills

* An ability to communicate & work effectively with colleagues and suppliers at all levels of the business

* An adaptable self-starter to embrace to drive change within the team

* Experience with SAP / Concur / Microsoft Office is highly desirable
