Are you a Science Graduate with a 2.2 degree or higher, and a vested interest in the education of secondary school pupils? • Accessible from King’s Lynn, Thetford, Ely and Bury St Edmunds
• Long-Term, Full-Time Science Academic Mentor position
• £60-£65 per day as a Science Academic Mentor
• To be considered you must hold a degree classification of a 2.2 or higher
• Immediate start as a Science Academic Mentor

This successful and large secondary is based in Norfolk. The school has a good reputation in the local area supporting local graduates and will offer you invaluable help, advice, guidance and training throughout your time at the school.

This Science Academic Mentor position is designed for a purposeful and bright Science graduate who has achieved a minimum of a 2.2 in their degree and a great Science A-Level. The school are hoping to meet a Science Academic Mentor with an enthusiastic and engaging character that has a positive and motivating effect upon others.

As the new graduate Science Academic Mentor, you will be expected to…

• Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
• Within an agreed system of supervision and within a pre-determined lesson framework, teach small groups or whole groups
• Deliver learning activities to students within agreed system of supervision, adjusting activities according to student responses/needs
• Prepare GCSE and A-Level students for exams by helping with preparation, techniques and revision
• Support the Science Department with the setting up of lab experiments
