OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School

£65 + Per Day (DOE)

Located in Kensington and Chelsea

We currently have the pleasure of working with an ‘Outstanding’ school to fill a challenging yet rewarding position which has just opened in Kensington and Chelsea. This position offers great opportunities for graduates looking to progress their careers, especially those interested in pursuing a PGCE or Teach First Program in the future. This particular school offers many training opportunities and is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a school. We are looking to recruit for the 2018 academic year, however there are opportunities for full time employment should you be the right candidate.

As a learning support assistant your knowledge as a graduate will be put to the test as you work in a variety of subjects in a variety of year groups. You will be required to identify individual needs of specific pupils and follow this up with 1:1 help and support where needed. In essence the job requires an individual who is creative, proactive and dedicated to tend to the high academic needs of their pupils and maintain the schools ‘Outstanding’ status.

At times the job may be challenging, particularly in terms of behaviour form pupils. In this respect previous experience in behaviour management may be beneficial. However these challenges are met with the all of the obvious rewards and satisfaction that come when working in a school.

The school itself has recently been renovated and has great transport links. Furthermore the staff turnover rate is extremely low, likely what attributes to the schools ‘outstanding’ OFSTED, making this position all the more rare.
