The Person The ideal Logistics/Helpdesk Technician will have the following responsibilities. Logistics: Provide accurate and timely communication to all members of staff. Manage the process of any customer Dispatches/Returns, including the tracking of any serial numbers etc. Manage all warehousing of devices relating to Stratas. Carry out Stock take at appropriate times. Manage Device/Consumable stock and order new stock where required. Manage any warranty/RMA requests for faulty non-customer damaged devices. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on the status of their order. Provide daily/weekly updates to Stratas colleagues as required. IT/Technology: Provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support for all software solutions that Stratas deploy – including document capture, management, and output solutions (such as Objectif Lune, Palette Arena, mStore, Therefore, Formstorm – however prior knowledge of these products is not necessary). Provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support for all devices you configure and setup via email or phone and occasionally onsite with a customer. Occasionally implement Stratas software solutions with a view to move from a support role to an implementation role in the future. The configuration and setup of any new devices that are received. Setup hot swaps (Device replacements) when requested via the Stratas support structure. Provide feedback to senior colleagues if any challenges occur relating to configuration of devices. Troubleshooting returned devices for feedback to our suppliers and internally. Testing devices where required.
