Becoming a Transactional HR & Payroll Assistant with HR Solutions:

An exciting and varied opportunity to commence a career & HR & Payroll with a large & dynamic business. This would suit an enthusiastic & motivated individual with customer service skills, strong written & verbal communication & good Word & Excel. Any exposure to an HR & Payroll environment would be beneficial but not essential

** This role is part-time – 3 full days per week **

What you will do:

*

Assist in the implementation of pay awards and annual increments for designated categories of staff within

appropriate time-scales.
*

Ensure that client instruction and processed accurately, within deadlines, to allow calculation of payments

and deductions.
*

Prepare, print and issue Contracts of Employment, ensuring that legal and conditions of service requirements

are met as necessary.
*

Timely calculation and issue of estimates of benefits for teaching and non teaching staff in relation to redundancy.
*

Act as a member of a team providing administrative support to the Unit ensuring at all times that deadlines

and the high standards required by Capita Business Services are met.
*

Maintain computerised and manual HR & Payroll records for designated clients.
*

Maintain good working relationships with clients and other parties in order to achieve the satisfactory completion

of all work and to promote the reputation of Capita Business Services.
*

Assist with telephone enquiries, answering incoming calls, filtering and dealing with as appropriate.

Your experience will include:

* Ideally A Level educated or minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths & English
* Strong written & verbal communication
* Good customer service skills
* Good attention to detail & ability to work as part of a team
* Good knowledge of Word & Excel
* Any experience of HR &/or payroll would be advantageous
