About the role

The Service Engineer will repair, maintain & install equipment supplied / as instructed by the Company. The post holder will be a member of the Home Counties Service Department Team and will report to the Field Service Manager.

What you will do:

Work within a team in order to attain goals and further the achievement of the organisation’s objectives
*

Agree targets and standards with team members which support the achievement of the organisations objectives
*

Plan with team members work schedules and resource requirements which will ensure team targets will be achieved
*

Ensure that team members collectively monitor the team’s performance in terms of achieving output, speed of response and quality targets and standards
*

Agree with team members any corrective action required to ensure that the team’s goals are met
*

Co-ordinate the work of the team to ensure that team goals are reached
*

To carry out responsibilities with due regard to the organisation’s Equality & Diversity policy
*

To service and maintain equipment as directed by the Company
*

Ensure all visits are completed in accordance with Call Control and in a timely manner
*

Ensure standard of repair / maintenance is accordance with Company expectations
*

Identifying needs and establishing user requirements
*

Identifying opportunities to improve service
*

Ensuring appropriate resources are available
*

Promoting good verbal and written dialogue with internal and external contacts/users
*

Promoting good working practices and procedure

Your experience will include:

*

Educated in or knowledge of Engineering, electronics and IT
*

Experience of delivering excellent customer service
*

Experience of working in the managed print industry
*

Ricoh manufacturer trained, or field experience up to Metis range
*

Colour theory and basic connectivity knowledge
*

Sharp trained or field experience
*

Creating the best possible experience for Capita clients and their customers, but internally and externally.
*

The ability to listen, express and articulate information effectively.
*

Knowledge and experience of Print & Document Management solutions, such as PCounter, Equitrac, PaperCut, eCopy, and Everyone Print
*

Network scanning knowledge/ Network Installation experience
*

Kyocera MFD & printer manufacturer trained, or field experience up to mid- range colour MFD
