The Role Our client is seeking a Stock Controller to ensure smooth running of Stock Control function at their Weedon site. Some previous Stock Control or similar experience would be an advantage. What You'll Do Process destructions, record & maintain destruction log for charging purposes Carry out weekly empty location checks Manage quarantine area, to keep to a minimum and action stock destructions Carry out stock system updates, adjustments and transfers including accurate T1 requests To make necessary arrangements for stock related tasks/investigations as appropriate To carry out continuous/rolling stock checks - rotational by location and also random Continually review & perform set replenishment process from bulk to pick locations on a daily basis to include stock consolidation Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines both Company and statutory What You'll Bring PC literate with a good working knowledge of warehouse systems and procedures Must be able to accurately follow all forms of instructions/guidelines Conscientious, have good attention to detail, be self-disciplined and lead by example at all times Sound numeric skills with the ability to perform basic calculations manually Excellent written and verbal English Ability to work under pressure and to react quickly and effectively to changes Be reliable with good timekeeping and able to work effectively as a team member at all times, yet capable of completing set tasks on own without direct supervision.
