Team Profile Our Upstream energy solutions offer the most comprehensive set of integrated data, analytical applications and research, which provides unrivalled commercial insights and valuation expertise. We are seeking a Data Assistant to join our Data Team for six months. Role Purpose The Data Assistant will support the maintenance of data and systems used to deliver content to clients and/or internal stakeholders. They will work with an experienced team of data experts, to execute the operation of business processes including data gathering, collation and formatting. They should develop an understanding of the implications of systems, tools and processes that are used in the team, and the impact of making changes for internal stakeholders and clients. Main Responsibilities Follow set procedures to complete regular data processes, under supervision and support of more experienced colleagues Fulfil ad-hoc and scheduled requests for data on-time and with high levels of accuracy Perform administrative tasks including formatting presentations or updating written content Collect and compile industry data on a regular basis from various sources to maintain and supplement the Data Platform Form a basic understanding of data domain, business activities and client requirements from the organisation's products and services Work with Research and Data colleagues to provide data support or process changes Knowledge & Experience The candidate will have basic experience or interest in working with data and be able to demonstrate an affinity with numbers Ability to work as part of a team and follow set procedures to complete high volumes of regular tasks accurately Experience of using MS Office suite including Excel and Powerpoint Core Competencies Planning, implementation and control Continuous improvement Collaboration Building and maintaining relationships Efficiency focused Wood Mackenzie Core Values Wood Mackenzie is a place where we are committed to supporting our people to grow and thrive.
