Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Manager for a futuristic and innovative tech business.

Key responsibilities

Review and query budget submitted at the pre-qualification and full proposal stages of all Grants for all entities
  • Prepare monthly grant reports budget vs actual
  • Responsible on reporting financials to grant provider
  • Participate in project visit as and when required
  • Preparation and posting of correcting journals
  • Liaise with local offices, to collect project data in a timely manner
  • As and when required, prepare financial reports to funders
  • Work closely with fundraisers to prepare funding and change requests
  • Monthly reconciliation of project schedules to Management Accounts

Interim maternity cover for FC including
  • Assisting with tax and audit tasks, liaising with KPMG
  • Assisting with VAT returns and HMRC audit
  • Assist CFO and FC with ad-hoc projects and tasks

Suitable profile:

To apply for this role you should be:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and determination with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong internal stakeholder engagement
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • A team-player, who can take responsibility and work with a high level of autonomy
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills

On offer for suitably qualified candidates is a base salary of between £45,000- £55,000 + bonus + benefits
