An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded, part qualified or qualified accountant to take on an Expense Analyst role for this City based financial services company. This role will be responsible for providing analysis of the company's expenses and providing reports for senior management. Example duties are:

* Contributing to their high-level business partnering function;
* Monitoring and managing the company's direct expenses;
* Provide analysis of the expense allocation process in accordance with the approved processes;
* Analysing the monthly actual expense and cross referencing it with budget forecast;
* Assisting with the preparation of both monthly departmental reporting packs and the quarterly group reporting packs;
* Supporting development of FP&A efficiencies to deliver valuable expense analysis; and
* Using experience of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budgeting/Forecasting and Reporting to assist with other ad hoc duties when required.

Applicants should have proven expense analysis skills ideally within insurance/financial services. This role is for an initial 6 months but with a strong likelyhood to extend/convert to permanent.
