Reporting & Project Accountant - Insurance

This is a newly created role at a growing insurance business, which can offer candidates with a strong insurance/reinsurance background and broad finance experience a rewarding and varied career path.

This role will be responsible for both financial reporting and operational management on a variety of business projects.
Reporting a various insurance business within the group including technical analysis of financial statements.
Management of acquisition integration and insurance company consolidations and insurance business transfers (including Part VIIs)
Maintenance of project plans and timetables.
Preparation of insurance company projections, business plans and solvency forecasts

This varied role requires an individual with a strong insurance and/or reinsurance background, ideally within a Finance/FP&A background. Experience of projects [and project methodologies] and management thereof would be extremely beneficial as would the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
