Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively working with a marketing company based in Guildford that are looking to bring on-board a Financial Accountant.


  • Managing and developing a team of 2 or 3 finance assistants
  • Managing the daily and weekly Merchant billing
  • Managing the daily and weekly Merchant settlements
  • Managing the chargeback reporting process
  • Reconciling the daily e-money control accounts
  • Reconciling the Company's bank accounts
  • Managing accounts payable
  • Posting all accounting entries to the Company's accounting systems (Aqilla)
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing currency conversions as appropriate
  • Managing the Safeguarding of Client's funds
  • Preparing regulatory reports as required
  • Responding to ad-hoc queries from management and Merchants
  • Working with the Development team to improve processes and reporting


  • Excellent Excel skills - pivot tables and lookup functionality
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Reliable and able to work to tight deadlines


My client was ranked in the top 100 Sunday Times fastest growing companies in the UK last year, due to this growth they are now expanding their finance team. In this role you will be working closely with the Finance Director, alongside this you will have the responsibility of developing and managing two junior finance assistants.

Salary & Benefits

£40,000 - £45,000
