Project Manager (PM) to lead and help conduct the analysis for the UK Product, Customer and Communications workstream of the Target Investment Model project, a fund launch. The PM will be expected to contribute to design and implementation of the Target Operating Model and other workstreams by ensuring that the customer and policyholder interests are protected and to ensure that customer communications are adequately covered.

The PM is also envisaged to temporarily lead the UK Investor, Balance Sheet & Financial Reporting Workstream for Q4 2018 until a resource currently working on the TOM of the whole programme is able to take over this workstream full time Q1 2019. This will involve planning the UK Investor, Balance Sheet & Financial Reporting Workstream. The candidate is required to have Investor, balance sheet and solvency II, and financial reporting expertise gained from within the LifeCo/Insurance/Pension industry.

The PM will be engaging with business users, senior within the group as required to oversee the full migration of the ACS structure with both the Life and Unit Linked Accountants and to help ensure no change to Investor, Tax and Financial Reporting as a result of the ACS implementation.

· Production or assistance with the production of key workstream documents/deliverables:

o Clear workstream objectives
o Workstream project plan
o Target Operating Model validation
o Identify impacted customers (investors in PAC, LFS, PIA, PPFM)
o Impact analysis for affected clients
o Regular updates for PAC, PIA, PPL boards
o Remediation for client impact
o Confirm client impact avoided

· Responsible for Project Management of this workstream

· Arranging/coordinating the delivery of this workstream and proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
· Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams
· Planning and designing the programme with the programme manager and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
· Working with the programme manager and PMO to define the programme's governance
· Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the programme manager, business sponsor and TIM Steerco
· Managing third party contributions to the programme
· Managing communications with stakeholders when required
· Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
· Managing risks and issues to the programme's successful outcome
· Facilitating the management of the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses

Requirements and Experience

· Project management experience (ideally 5 years) within investment management and an understanding of different approaches / methodologies.

· Insurance and Life Company experience with emphasis on Client, Investor & Financial Reporting
· With Profit and non-profit fund experience
· Fund Product literature
· Preparing and dealing and communication internally and externally included FAC, PRA and internal boards and committees
· A proven track record of successfully leading on and delivering projects within a front office environment, across a wide range of functions is also essential.
· Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills.
· Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.

· A willingness to work to tight deadlines is key, alongside managing multiple products being defined and delivered in an agile way.
· Solid analytical and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements.
· A highly motivated individual, proactive and resilient, as well as being flexible and able to manage ambiguity during project delivery.
· Team player and able to work with and through others. The ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation is also key, alongside strong relationship management skills.
· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables
· Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and who can influence and motivate people around them.
· Respecting reporting deadlines and being able to manage expectations upwards as well as the delivery team downwards.
· Ability to build good relationships internally and externally
