Digital Transformation Officer

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst or Systems Analyst to join the Digitalisation Programme Team in delivering a challenging and diverse set of change projects.
This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of the councils change programme, which will see improvements to the way we deliver services to customers, both online and in the back-office. With a dual focus of providing a rich and functional online presence, as well as efficient and streamlined process delivery, this role will initially undertake business process mapping and redesign within a framework of available technologies and resources.
Following successful business process redesign and supported by the Corporate System Administration and Development Officer, the role will then start to focus on implementation and delivery, with the opportunity to gain exposure and skills in a number of online and back-office technologies.
As this role will work across all council services, the ideal candidate must have extensive experience of successfully managing and delivering a complex and diverse portfolio of projects simultaneously.
The ability to balance the sometimes difficult task of building strong working relationships whilst pushing through change will be essential, as will a strong grasp of technical principals and solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BPA or SA to undertake a large scale programme of works and gain valuable experience in leveraging technology to make a real difference for our residents and businesses.
